Becoming a contractor

Becoming a contractor
As a public company, Infrabel applies the public procurement legislation in force. Our purchasing policy is transparent, fair and non-discriminatory, and aims to ensure open competition.

To become a contractor for Infrabel, you can submit an application or a tender after a new contract notice has been published via:

  • e-Procurement: public procurement contracts published at Belgian and European level
  • OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union): contracts published at European level

Selection criteria
Each contract notice includes qualitative selection criteria. Your application and/or tender must meet these criteria in order to be considered for award.

Works contracts: contractor recognition (approval)
For public works contracts, contractor recognition (approval) is mandatory when the value of the works exceeds a certain threshold. For more information on contractor recognition, please consult the website of the FPS Economy, which is responsible for managing the recognition system.
