Connection schema
The following diagram shows the different possible configurations of a connection:
Main line: line used by passenger and freight trains running at a speed generally higher than 40 km/h
Local line: line used by trains running at a speed no higher than 40 km/h
Yard: set of sidings in a station, with a common destination (yard tracks, shunting...), and designated under the same generic name
Out of service or out of operation: Infrabel lines that are no longer open to commercial traffic
